Here's how it all began...

About 11 years ago, I sat down at my sewing machine and struggled getting it threaded! It literally took me about and hour to figure it out - but I was determined! I did it! Then came the sewing part. You would have laughed at my first attempt. I couldn't even sew a straight line. More hours of practice and crying and laughing and needles breaking and I was actually pretty good at it!

Then, came the first "Pocket" which was the origin of the Pocketbaby Name (now Pocketbrand). The Pocket on the front of my tees and onesies was the "Perfect Place to Clip a Pacifier!" While I still make items with Pockets - the shop has clearly evolved into much, much more!

Eight years ago I got my first embroidery machine. It was a small, personal home machine - and I loved it. It took practice, but I was comfortable with it much sooner than I was with that stubborn sewing machine.
I started by embroidering initials onto the Pockets, and then that transitioned to burp cloths and birthday shirts!

All that to say - I truly appreciate all of my customers! I love having families come back year after year for special items for their kiddos - and I LOVE seeing the pictures as we all grow together!
